Kamiah man arrested for driving under the influence and carrying drugs

IDAHO COUNTY, Idaho – An Idaho deputy arrested a man on Highway 13 for driving under the influence and having possession of meth and marijuana.

On Feb. 28 at around 9:05 p.m., an Idaho County deputy was driving on Highway 13 when a vehicle was driving suspiciously and had crossed the center line several times.

The deputy stopped the vehicle and performed a field sobriety test and while administering the test, a K9 and her handler performed an exterior sniff and found drugs including meth, marijuana and several pieces of paraphernalia.

The driver later identified as 53-year-old Kip Lane from Kamiah was arrested for driving under the influence, felony trafficking in methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
