KELLER, Wash. – The Washington State Department of Transportation said that there is still no estimated time when the Keller Ferry will return to service after the service shut down on Nov. 28.
According to WSDOT, technicians still need several items to repair a mechanical issue with the steering. There is no timeline for when those items will arrive.
“Travelers planning a trip across the Columbia River on SR 21 should choose an alternate route during the closure via SR 25 or SR 155 and SR 174,” WSDOT said.
The Keller Ferry has shut down several times throughout 2024 due to mechanical issues.
