A cheeky kingfisher was captured enjoying a fishy snack – while perched on a No Fishing’ sign.
Keen amateur photographer Stevie Clarke waited patiently for one of the colourful birds to make an appearance in Ayr, Scotland.
Stevie, from Irvine, said: “I was covered in my camo bag hide hoping she would make an appearance.
“When she landed on the sign with a fish in her beak, she casually looks at the sign and carries on stunning her freshly caught fish against it.
“I was over the moon when she landed on the sign with a fresh catch. She blatantly disregarded the rules of the sign.
“Thank you, Mrs Kingfisher.”
