KAMIAH, Idaho – A landslide has forced the closure of part of State Highway 64 near Kamiah. The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced that the road is closed from Ida Road to Drake Road in Lewis County.
The landslide was first reported just before 9:00 a.m.
ITD officials stated that repairs are underway, but clearing the roadway could take until December 13.
In the meantime, ITD advises travelers to find alternative routes.
