HAYFORD, Wash. — A SWAT standoff is underway on Geiger Boulevard near Hayford.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began as an argument that escalated, leading one person to threaten the other. Deputies called in a SWAT team after the suspect barricaded himself in his home. Authorities report that the suspect has been uncooperative.
Deputies stated that more information will be available once the investigation is complete.
