Larry Krasner files suit against Musk’s lottery in swing states

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – District Attorney Larry Krasner filed a lawsuit this week against Elon Musk, labeling Musk’s sweepstakes as an “illegal lottery scheme.” Krasner argues the contest violates Pennsylvania’s lottery and consumer protection laws.

Krasner emphasized that under Pennsylvania law, only the state can conduct lotteries. He stated, “Musk’s sweepstakes doesn’t meet those guidelines.”

Musk, through his pro-Trump ‘America PAC,’ is conducting a daily one million dollar giveaway. This offer is open to registered voters in key swing states who sign a petition supporting the First and Second Amendments.

The states involved in this sweepstakes are Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Last week, the Justice Department warned Musk that the giveaway might breach federal election laws. Despite this warning, the sweepstakes continues.
