LATAH COUNTY, Idaho — The Latah County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) disposed of a grenade found in a home on Wednesday.
According to LCSO, the grenade was found by family members cleaning out a dead relatives home on Cedar Ridge Road. LCSO confirmed the explosive came out of Spokane and was disposed of.
“We would like to thank the Spokane Police Department, Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the United States Air Force and the Juliaetta and Kendrick Fire Department and EMS for their assistance in this dangerous situation,” Sheriff Skiles said.
