CARLTON, Wash. — Level 2 “Be Set” evacuations have been called out for residents in Carlton due to a wildfire.
According to Okanogan County Emergency Management, a fire is active around State Route 153 and Gold Creek Loop Road (North End). Residents are advised to be ready to leave the area at a moment’s notice.
Officials are asking people not to wait for door-to-door alerts and to take action if needed. Emergency Management is monitoring the situation.
