Lewis and Clark High School goes into Secure and Teach lockdown after alleged threat

SPOKANE, Wash. – Lewis and Clark High School briefly went into Secure and Teach on Tuesday after a student was accused of bringing a weapon on campus.

According to a communication sent to students and parents via text by the school, the Spokane Police Department assessed the situation and found that a student had a pellet gun.

“Appropriate actions are being taken by local law enforcement and district staff,” the school said.
