SPOKANE, Wash. – The West Plains Crisis Response Team took some furry friends down to Omaha to network and learn more about crisis response.
The International Co-Responder Alliance hosted the CoRCon and invited the Cheney Police Department and Airway Heights Police Department.
Airway Heights Police took K9 Tonks a new member at the department, to join the force on the trip and he even got to make some friends.
They plan to implement everything they learned from the conference back to the region to use to better serve the community.
