PHOENIX, Ariz. – Lori Vallow Daybell, who was convicted of killing her two children, is set to stand trial in Arizona for the death of her ex-husband in 2019.
An Arizona judge has ruled that she is competent to stand trial. Daybell faces charges not only for the death of her ex-husband but also for conspiring to kill her niece’s ex-husband.
She is already serving a life sentence in Idaho for the murder of her two children and conspiracy to kill her husband’s former wife.
The Arizona trial is tentatively scheduled to start in February. Daybell plans to represent herself in court.
