COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — A man was arrested after reportedly shooting at a woman’s car during a road rage incident on Interstate 90 near Coeur d’Alene.
According to a press release from the Idaho State Police (ISP), a 40-year-old woman reported being the victim of a shooting that occurred during a road rage incident at Exit 11 on I-90. Troopers said their investigation found that a bullet had traveled through the car’s passenger door and front passenger seat.
ISP troopers located a car matching the description of the suspect’s car in the area of Summit Avenue in Coeur d’Alene. Troopers and local police found the suspected driver, a 24-year-old man, and arrested him. He was booked into the Kootenai County Jail on charges of unlawful discharge of a firearm at a vehicle and aggravated assault, both felonies. The man was also charged with first-offense DUI.
