SPOKANE, Wash. — A man was arrested after he broke into an ambulance and attempted to steal the vehicle.

According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), officers responded to Washington and Sprague around 2:49 p.m. on June 25. Officers observed an ambulance with a broken-out window.

Witnesses said the suspect was escorted out of a nearby bank after getting upset. The man walked up to the ambulance, broke the window, got in and started revving the engine.

“The act of damaging the ambulance interfered with the medical crew’s ability to effectively respond to the call they were on,” SPD said.

Joshua T.L. Musselman, 2, was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail for attempted vehicle theft and first-degree malicious mischief.
