Sheldon George, 28, was formally charged with first-degree assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday after he allegedly stabbing another man in the chest.
According to court documents, the incident occurred when the victim was going door-to-door seeking work.
The victim approached George’s door, and George accused him of scoping out the neighborhood, instructing him to leave. Mitchell stated that George stepped closer, prompting him to push George away.
Court documents indicate that George then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
