SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane man made his first appearance in court Monday, facing charges of first-degree assault and robbery after reportedly trying to steal rare Pokémon cards.
According to court docs, Kyle Row,34 is accused of attempting to steal rare Pokémon cards from a victim at the T.J. Meenach Bridge. Court docs said that, Row met with the victim to buy the cards, then allegedly pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the cards without paying.
The victim, who was inside their car, drove off, but police said Row fired a shot that passed through the victim’s rear windshield.
According to court docs, Row reportedly admitted to the incident. His bond was set at $100,000.
