CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — A man is dead and another remains in critical condition after a shooting in Chelan on Friday.
According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), deputies were advised of a shooting around Stayman Flats Road and Summer Camp Road around 4:58 a.m. on May 17. When deputies arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds.
A 49-year-old man was found dead. A 40-year-old man was transported to the hospital via Life Flight in critical condition.
CCSO said investigators believe this was an isolated incident and that there was no threat to the public. No suspect has been arrested at this time.
This remains an active investigation.
