CHELAN, Wash. – A Colville man died in the hospital almost a month after he crashed his car into Lake Chelan.
Erik Korbely, 37, died at the Harborview Medical Center on Monday according to Washington State Patrol.
Korbely was driving westbound on SR 150 on May 13, when he lost control and hit a guardrail on the eastbound side of the highway and flew into the lake.
The cause of the investigation is still unknown, but WSP said that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
