SPOKANE, Wash. – One man is dead after crashing into a tree along Rutter Parkway on Thursday morning.
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office say that a man traveling west on West Rutter Parkway and North Dorset Road veered north off the road and hit a large tree.
West Rutter Parkway and North Dorset Road will be closed for two hours or longer as crews work to investigate.
The man inside the car was declared dead at the scene and no other individuals were hurt in the incident.
Spokane County Traffic Unit and the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will investigate and release more details about the cause when known.
