COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wash. – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man, Henry Mitchell, 67, known as Wayne.
Mitchell went missing after heading into the mountains near Patrick’s Grade and Canon campground around noon on Friday. His car was found near the campground, prompting a multi-agency search effort.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has teamed up with the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office, College Place Police, and Washington State Fish and Wildlife, among other departments, to search for Mitchell.
Anyone who has seen Mitchell or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office through their emergency dispatch at 509-382-2518.
