MOSCOW, Idaho — A 73-year-old man was taken to the hospital for multiple stab wounds after an attempted murder on Wednesday night in Moscow.
According to the Moscow Police Department, officers responded to a call reporting a stabbing near 122 North Washington Street around 9:42 p.m. on Oct. 9.
A witness said they heard commotion and went inside the apartment. The witness found the victim on top of a 35-year-old man who had attempted to kill him. Officers arrested the suspect, and the victim was taken to the Gritman Medical Center to be treated for multiple stab wounds.
The victim’s current condition is unknown. According to Moscow police, the two men were related, and their identities have not been released.
According to the Moscow Police Department, the suspect was taken to the Latah County Jail, where he has been charged with Attempted Homicide. This incident is under investigation.
