SPOKANE, Wash. — The man killed in last Friday’s downtown Spokane hit-and-run has been identified.
According to the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office, the man has been identified as Jeremy Somday, 44. The office reported that Somday died from blunt force injuries to the neck and extremities.
The Spokane Police Department stated that near West 3rd Avenue and South Wall Street. Authorities say a vehicle struck Somday and then fled the scene. Emergency responders attempted to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
