Man killed in north Spokane shooting with no suspects named

SPOKANE, Wash. – One man is dead after an altercation led to a shooting in north Spokane according to police.

The Spokane Police Department responded just before midnight on Tuesday to an altercation between a group of people who are believed to have known each other.

Police responded to 200 East Wedgewood and found one man dead in the walkway area and called in Major Crimes Units to assist in the investigation.

The identity of the man shot has not been disclosed and police say additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Police have not named a suspect or released information regarding any arrests in the incident.

Spokane Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Tuesday in north Spokane.

Around midnight on Tuesday at 200 East Wedgewood a shooting occurred leaving one subject injured according to SPD.

SPD says there is no active threat to the public.

Our reporter on scene saw what appeared to be blood at the apartment.

Police are on scene at the apartment complex investigating and will provide more information as it becomes available.
