KITTITAS, Wash. – A man was killed in a single-car crash late Sunday night on I-90 after hitting a guardrail and rolling.
Einar Smith, 33, from Cle Elum was driving eastbound near the Easton city limits around 11:35 p.m. when he struck a guard rail and rolled his vehicle.
Washington State Patrol said he was pronounced dead at the scene and noted that he was found not wearing a seat belt.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident. The cause of the crash is still unknown but is being investigated.
