Man pulled from Spokane River identified by medical examiner

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane County Medical Examiner has identified the man who was pulled from the Spokane River in June.

On June 24, a man was found floating down the Spokane River near the Division Street Bridge around 11 a.m. and was pulled from the water by the Spokane Fire Department.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner identified the man as Robert Dean, 61.

The cause and manner of death have not been released.
