SPOKANE, Wash. – A record label owner and a renowned punk artist have released “Merriment,” the best graphic novel of early 2024.

Don Giovanni owner Joe Steinhardt and Marissa Paternoster, known for her work as the vocalist/guitarist the Screaming Females which wrapped-up late last year, released “Merriment” in mid-March.

Paternoster studied art in college, and Steinhardt studied screenwriting. After years of accomplishments in the music industry, “Merriment” posed an opportunity for the team to revisit their original disciplines.
In an interview with NonStop Local on Tuesday, Steinhardt and Paternoster explained their creative process, how the project came to fruition and the best kinds of book tour food. Check it out!
