SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane County Treasurer Michael Baumgartner (R) and former US State Department official Carmela Conroy (D) are advancing to the November general election, AP reports.
According to AP, as of Aug. 7 at 6:49 p.m., with 67% of votes counted, Baumgartner holds a nearly 9 percent lead over Conroy with 28.4% of the votes compared to Conroy’s 19.6%.
Baumgartner is currently the Spokane County Treasurer, and Conroy is a former chair of the Spokane County Democratic Central Committee.
Baumgartner and Conroy will go head-to-head in the General Election on Nov. 5.
