VASHON ISLAND, Wash. – An inmate mistakenly released by the Kootenai County Jail on May 20 was arrested on Vashon Island in King County Tuesday.
According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Daniel Billingsley was apprehended at about 2:30 pm without incident. He is currently in King County Jail and will be sent back to Kootenai County according to the sheriff’s office.
Billingsley was being held on possession of a controlled substance charge before he was mistakenly released from Idaho Department of Corrections custody.
