MOSCOW, Idaho – Moscow Police are searching for an inmate who walked away from a job site on the University of Idaho campus; residents near Theophilus Tower are advised to avoid the area.
According to the Moscow Police Department, they are searching for Wayland Savage, a 34-year-old inmate from the Idaho Department of Corrections. Savage is a white male, 6’2″, and was last seen wearing dark pants and a black T-shirt. He is incarcerated for burglary and grand theft.
Savage walked away from a job site on the University of Idaho Moscow campus today. Police are advising residents near Theophilus Tower at the University of Idaho to avoid the area.
Washington State University has also issued an alert for students and faculty on campus.
