MOSES LAKE, Wash. – A Samaritan Hospital employee was arrested after he assaulted an unconscious patient during an exam.
Mitchell Jones, 37, was performing an examination on an unconscious female patient on Thursday when he was seen by three witnesses groping the woman’s breasts.
Detectives learned that Jones was seen checking doors and covering the patient’s face before he lifted her gown and put his face in her breasts.
Hospital staff and administration took appropriate action by confronting Jones and informing law enforcement, prompting him to try to leave the hospital.
Jones was arrested and booked into Grant County Jail on charges of Indecent Liberties.
