Moses Lake police investigate drive-by shooting and seek witnesses

MOSES LAKE, Wash. – Moses Lake police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred on Sept. 8 and are seeking information about the incident.

According to a Facebook post from the Moses Lake Police Department, officers responded to a report of the shooting around 3 a.m. on Sept. 8 at the intersection of North Buell Drive and West Gary Street. Upon arrival, police found multiple spent casings and confirmed that both a home and a car had been struck by gunfire.

Through witness statements and surveillance footage, police believe a gray or black car may have fled the scene shortly after the incident.

The Moses Lake Police Department is asking residents in nearby neighborhoods to review their surveillance footage for any signs of a dark-colored sedan passing through around that time. They encourage anyone with information about this incident to come forward or provide a tip.
