LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – Washington State Patrol reported that a man died after failing to negotiate an exit curve and crashing his motorcycle.
On Wednesday, Jeffrey Sankey, 57, was driving eastbound on I-90 when he took exit 299, failed to negotiate the curve, and crashed into the median.
The factors contributing to the crash are under investigation, but Sankey was wearing a helmet.
No other vehicles were involved, and Sankey was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash closed the exit from around 11 p.m. to about 2 a.m.
