SPOKANE, Wash. – A new cross country course is planned for the Spokane Valley, and will span 62-acres along the Spokane River.

The City of Spokane Valley is building the facility alongside Spokane Sports and the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. The venue will host local, state and national sporting events.

“The course will be completed in the fall of 2025, accommodating a preview season, and then will host a full cross country schedule of invitational and championship events in fall 2026,” the City of Spokane Valley said in a press release.

In addition to supporting cross country tournaments, the course will also have cyclocross facilities, with more sports potentially being added to the park after its completion.
