SPOKANE, Wash. – A unique cemetery has opened in Spokane, allowing people and their pets to be laid to rest together.
Fairmount Memorial Association has introduced a special memorial garden for families to be cremated alongside their beloved pets.
The cemetery marked its opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.
This new offering aims to provide comfort for pet owners by keeping families united. The cemetery will be on Government Way just north of Riverside Mausoleum and Riverside Memorial Park.
