WENATCHEE, Wash. – Supporters gathered to celebrate the opening of the new Planned Parenthood health center in Wenatchee last week.
According to Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and Northern Idaho (PPGWNI), the center replaces a smaller building that had fewer facilities.
In a 2023 statement anticipating the soft opening of the new location, CEO Karl Eastlund said that the center will serve a critical role
“Our new health center location helps ensure enhanced access to low-cost, high quality reproductive health care in the Wenatchee Valley area,” Eastlund said.
PPGWNI has bulked-up operations on the Washington side of the Washington-Idaho border, as and the for women receiving abortions.
