SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Police are working to identify a suspect in a So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
The stabbing happened yesterday afternoon near the corner of South Thor Street and East First Avenue. Authorities responded to the scene just after 2:30 p.m., finding a man with multiple stab wounds. According to reports, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
One resident, who chose to remain anonymous, shared their account of the aftermath. “Another neighbor had ran to my door pounding all frantic,” the resident said. “I had ran up to the front of the complex and I seen (the victim) laying in the front of the stairwell and it looked like he had been stabbed in his neck.”
Although police have not released the victim’s name, they do not believe the stabbing was random. Investigators have assured the public that there is no threat at this time.
Major Crimes investigators have removed the initial scene tape and are advancing into the next stage of their investigation.
