SPOKANE, Wash. – Washington and Idaho residents might have another chance to catch the geomagnetic phenomenon on Tuesday as the northern lights could be visible in the states.
The region experienced a glimpse of the beautiful aurora borealis earlier this year in May, with hundreds of people tracking the movements across Washington and Idaho.
Tuesday could provide another opportunity of the light show but it could be tricky to see.
With the promise of being able to view the lights isn’t guaranteed.
Maps from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration show that the maximum forecast geomagnetic activity will be between 6pm and 6am US Central Time.
