SPOKANE, Wash. — One of the suspects involved in the shooting near Gonzaga University, which resulted , has been sentenced.
According to Spokane County Court, 18-year-old Devin Billy McEwen reached a plea agreement last week. The attempted murder charge was dropped, but McEwen was charged with first-degree robbery, drive-by shooting and attempting to elude police. He was sentenced to four years and five months in prison, followed by 18 months of parole.
The other two suspects also received sentences. , who was the first to be charged, accepted a plea deal for three years and five months in prison for first-degree robbery.
The second suspect, Kayden Willoughby, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison.
