SPOKANE, Wash – Early Monday morning, calls came in to the Spokane Police Department about a woman being shot near Wellesley and Nevada Avenues.
According to SPD, officers arrived and at some point engaged with the suspect in the shooting. One of the SPD officers fired their gun at the suspect.
We’re told one person is dead and another is injured but it is unclear who those people are at this time.
You’re asked to stay clear of the area while the investigation continues.
