OTHELLO, Wash. – A man was arrested for drunk driving after leading police on a chase in Othello on Sunday evening.
On May 26, police attempted to pull over a white Nissan that failed to yield to an Othello Police Department patrol vehicle.
An officer traveling eastbound on East Main Street towards State HWY 17 observed the car with a blown-out tire, spinning out of control.
Despite the activation of the police’s emergency lights, the car continued driving below the legal speed limit and did not stop.
After a brief chase, police were able to arrest Emilio Martinez-Silva, 25, on charges of DUI and eluding.
