Over 60 people displaced due to apartment fire in downtown Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. – Over 60 people have been displaced after a fire in downtown Spokane at the Coeur d’Alene Plaza Apartments.

According to a spokesperson from the Spokane Fire Department at the scene, started in a kitchen in an apartment unit in the Coeur d’ Alene Plaza Apartments and said that 64 people were displaced due to the fire.

Firefighters said that the fire was knocked down but are now dealing with a flooding problem in the building due to a pipe burst. Firefighters said that they were trying to pump out water in the building.
