SPOKANE, Wash.- According to data released by the Washington State Patrol (WSP) on Feb. 15, there have been 14 fatal collisions and over a thousand drunk driving arrests across the state since the start of the year.
The information released by WSP via social media reports 1,321 impaired driver arrests from Jan. 1 to Feb. 15.
In addition to drunk driving, there have been over 3,700 collisions investigated by Washington law enforcement so far this year, 14 of which were fatal.
The data was released following a snowy Feb. 15 which resulted in a deadly vehicle collision between a car and a semi-truck.
