SPOKANE, Wash. – Work on the planned North Spokane corridor connection to Interstate 90 will continue Sunday with Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crews surveying the area where the future interchange will be built.

According to WSDOT, lane closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. from Sunday night to early Wednesday morning between the Hamilton Street to Appleway/Sprague interchanges.

“Crews will begin by closing a single eastbound lane followed by a reduction of a second lane once traffic volumes subside. Once complete, crews will turn around and survey westbound lanes,” WSDOT said.

Work conducted by WSDOT will help develop plans to have the project done by 2026.

“Short term on- and off-ramps will be subject to closures during this work. No detour will be available for the ramp closures and no more than one ramp will be closed at the same time,” WSDOT said.
