Passenger opens emergency exit on Alaska Airlines flight at SeaTac

SEATTLE, Wash. – A passenger on an Alaska Airlines flight caused a stir when she opened the emergency exit door and climbed onto the wing after landing at SeaTac.

The incident occurred as passengers were disembarking from a flight that had arrived from Milwaukee. According to Cairo’s Seven News in Seattle, the passenger became anxious and proceeded to open the emergency exit.

Emergency responders from the Port of Seattle fire department and a crisis intervention team evaluated the passenger. A spokesperson from CTA stated that no charges are being filed against her. However, officials noted that she might have violated FAA regulations, prompting the involvement of the FAA and FBI.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities look into the details of the incident.
