SPOKANE, Wash. – Part of Maple St. is closed Friday afternoon while police investigate a crash in the area.
Spokane police responded to Maple St. and West 4th Ave. around 2:30 pm Friday for an auto vs. pedestrian collision.
The pedestrian reportedly suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. Their exact condition at this time is unknown.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Traffic in the area is expected to be impacted until around 5:30 pm.
Major Crimes investigators are investigating the scene.
