PRIEST LAKE, Idaho — Bonner County EMS rescued one injured person after sliding down the Lion Head trailhead water slides.
The natural rock water slides near Priest Lake have become a popular spot amongst locals and tourists, but they are also dangerous if someone slides them down wrong. BCEMS, Priest Lake ambulance and North of the Narrows Fire District treated and transported a person who attempted to slide down the rocks.
Since the Lion Head trailhead waterslides are in a remote location, a helicopter with Two Bear Air Rescue was able to transport the patient to Coolin, where Life Flight Network treated them.
