Planned burn begins near Coeur d’Alene closing roads

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho. – Idaho Panhandle National Forests will be closing roads, trails and other areas near the Coeur D’Alene River District for a fire burn.

The areas that will be closed are:

All area south of FSR 332, west of Trail 448, north of North Fork Coeur d’Alene River including Trail 20, north of FSR 1533, north of Spruce creek, east of R1E and R2E line, and east of FSR 306All area south of FSR 412, west of North Fork Coeur d’ Alene River, north of FSR 208, north of Trail 309, and east of FSR 3099. Roads: FSR 1533, FSR 306, FSR 240. Trails: portions of NFS Trails 20, 452, and 24

The closure will be in place during flight operations for the public’s safety.
