Police arrest suspects at chronic nuisance house in northeast Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — Police arrested three suspects at a chronic nuisance home in northeast Spokane on Friday.

A release from a Spokane Police Department spokesperson said officers addressed a drug issue at an apartment where a toddler lived, leading to several arrests and the child’s placement with CPS.

Police then conducted another search that led to the arrest of an unregistered sex offender.

By day’s end, 29-year-old Zachariah Campbell, 35-year-old James Hickmanand 60-year-old Gary Salchenberg — who faced the unregistered sex offender charge — had all been arrested.

All three suspects were booked into the Spokane County Jail as SPD continues efforts to reduce nuisance calls at this address.
