SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A woman stole over $23,000 after she provided a forged passport to multiple banks in Chelan County.
According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), the suspect walked into Cle Elum Cashmere Valley Bank and accessed the victims bank account with the forged passport.
CCSO said she stole $12,300 and then travelled to Leavenworth Cashmere Valley Bank and stole an additional $10,800.
The suspect is a 50 to 60 year old woman with short black, brown and white hair. CCSO said she has possible missing teeth and wears dentures.
