POST FALLS, Idaho – A local development company in Post Falls is planning a nearly $7 million mixed-use project to further enhance the city’s growth and economy.
The project will be located in Spokane and will include restaurants, shops, and apartments. This development aims to attract more business and people to the area, known as the gateway city between Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.
In addition to the mixed-use project, a fast food chain based in Kansas will soon establish a location in Post Falls. This move is expected to bring additional property tax revenue and create jobs, further boosting the local economy.
“Not only does it bring in the additional property tax but hopefully creates jobs and generates additional sales tax, etc.,” said Post Falls Mayor Ronald Jacobson. “So I think on the commercial side, it adds to our potential tax revenue on several different phases.”
Earlier this year, Bargain Market announced plans to build a $20 million store in Post Falls, aiming to increase shopping options for residents.
The combination of these developments is expected to contribute significantly to the economic growth of Post Falls, providing new opportunities for businesses and residents alike.
