POST FALLS, Idaho – A Post Falls School District official has issued a statement regarding the student identified as the man who shouted racist remarks at the Utah women’s basketball team in March.

“We are disturbed by the news that a Post Falls High School student was involved in the racial slur incident in Coeur d’ Alene in March. The district stands firmly against racism and does not condone hateful speech or actions of any kind.” said superintendent Dena Naccarato.

The teen was identified as Anthony Myers, 18.

This comes after Coeur d’Alene Chief Deputy City Attorney, Ryan Hunter, decided that the teen would not face charges when he concluded there wasn’t sufficient evidence of a crime under Idaho law.
